The Neza Foundation is the social impact arm of Neza Coffee. Through a purpose-driven profit model, a portion of every purchase directly supports the Foundation’s work - ensuring that our growth translates into real, measurable change.
Our impact focuses on two key areas: empowering female coffee farmers and supporting mental health initiatives for genocide survivors. By investing in women-led farming communities, we promote economic independence, sustainable practices, and resilience at origin. At the same time, the Neza Foundation helps provide access to mental health resources and community-based support for survivors.
This integrated model means that every cup of Neza Coffee goes beyond quality - it contributes to empowerment, healing, and a more equitable future.
Empowering Women Farmers Through Sustainable Livelihoods
At Neza Coffee, supporting women farmers is central to our mission. Through the Neza Foundation, we recently supported women coffee farmers by providing goats as part of a sustainable livelihood initiative focused on long-term economic resilience. For women farmers, goats play a meaningful role in strengthening household stability. They support food security, generate income opportunities, and contribute natural fertilizer that improves soil health and farm productivity - creating lasting benefits for families and their land.
Women are at the heart of coffee farming, yet often face limited access to resources and economic opportunity. By investing in women-led initiatives, we aim to strengthen communities at the source and support a more sustainable and equitable coffee supply chain.

GAERG plays a critical role in addressing both immediate and ongoing needs—providing mental health support, community care, and pathways toward economic independence for survivors navigating the lasting effects of trauma. Their work is grounded in dignity, compassion, and sustainability.
Through the collective support of our community, Neza Coffee was able to contribute meaningfully to GAERG’s initiatives. While this marked an early step in our impact journey, it represents something far greater: proof that intentional business can help create tangible change.
